"Unmatched Mailboxes" is shwon in restoring an usermailbox
I am handling Exchange server 2007 SP3 (English). To restore the user mailbox, I am using "Microsoft Exchange Troubleshooting Assistant". In this tool, I am facing follwoing situation. Please see "Fig.11" in below URL. http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Working-Recovery-Storage-Groups-Exchange-2007.html The screen name is "Select Mailboxes to Copy or Merge". Normally The list of mailboxes has checkbox at each mailbox. However in my case, there are no checkbox shown, and "Unmatched Mailboxes" is shown at upper-left of themailbox list. What settings should I check ?? [Additional Info] Actually I am using TWO Active directory there are connected by Trust-relationship. The Exchange Server belongs Domain A. The AD user (This case) is in Domain B. I can resote "Domain A user's mailbox" successfully. Cannot restore Domain B. According to above information, It seems access privilege problem. Thanks and regards,

Hi, This may occur if the MSExchOrigmdb is mismatched or MailboxGUID is mismatched. I'd suggest you restore the mailbox via cmdlets below: Restore-mailbox -id "ID" -rsgdatabase <database name> Hope it is helpful. Fiona
